Lease Administration Director

We are seeking a Lease Administration Director to join our Lease Administration team. The role supports a diverse set of client needs from basis management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits. The Director will leverage comprehensive knowledge and data across the portfolio to enable clients to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance their core business.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop dynamic Lease Administration teams, managing multiple teams that provide full scope of lease administration services for clients.
- Serve as executive relationship manager and point of client escalation.
- Communicate with JLL Account Managers on important issues and ongoing performance.
- Assume primary responsibility for client satisfaction and reporting accuracy.
- Oversee performance, career development, and deliverables for up to eight client teams through supervision of multiple managers or supervisors.
- Ensure account teams comply with internal controls, mediate errors, and implement performance plans as necessary.
- Document and share best practices, strengthen internal controls, and improve data quality.
- Participate in prospective client presentations and special projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with at least ten years of work experience in Lease Administration, advanced knowledge of real‑estate accounting practices or property management (at least five years in Lease Administration or a closely related field).
- Five or more years of supervisory experience at a strategic level with internal and external teams.
- Strong financial and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset with the ability to start and drive solutioning processes.
- Ability to understand and interpret data and use technology to increase efficiency.
- Desire to learn and grow, and willingness for light travel.
