Job summary

The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) in Dallas is seeking a Director of Annual & Leadership Giving to lead donor identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for annual gifts of $5,000 to $25,000.

Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role builds a portfolio of donors and prospects, developing data-informed strategies to deepen connections to CAF and the Tippie NAEC. Hybrid or remote work options may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible fundraising or development experience.
• Proven ability to cultivate donor relationships and solicit gifts.
• Experience managing a donor portfolio and prioritizing engagement strategies.
• Familiarity with fundraising databases and moves management concepts.
• Ability to travel as needed for donor meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospective leadership annual donors and create a robust qualification pipeline.
• Build and manage a portfolio of 125–175 donors with capacity for $5,000–$25,000 gifts.
• Develop individualized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies for assigned donors.
• Travel for donor visits, events, and presentations as needed.
• Prepare donor materials and proposals and coordinate with leadership on major gift opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of donor contacts and activity in Raiser's Edge and related systems.
