About the Position

The Director will provide clinical and administrative leadership for Journey House, a specialized residential treatment facility for adolescent girls involved in the court system. Responsibilities include overseeing program operations, quality improvement, fiscal management, and regulatory compliance, ensuring exceptional care in collaboration with community and organizational partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure efficiency in intake, service provision, and discharge processes to meet program goals.
2. Provide oversight of clinical programming and develop program budgets in collaboration with Finance.
3. Maintain compliance with licensing, accreditation standards, and regulations such as CSSD and The Joint Commission.
4. Monitor quality improvement indicators, develop strategies, and lead related activities.
5. Serve as PREA Coordinator, ensuring compliance with all standards.
6. Build collaborative relationships with hospital, community, and statewide agencies.
7. Advise senior leadership on program needs and work with CSSD leadership on contracts and services.
8. Manage staff training, development, and performance, and coordinate educational goals.

Qualifications

• Current CT licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LADC, or psychologist.
• Master’s Degree in Mental Health or Substance Abuse field.
• Minimum five years of experience with adolescent behavioral health and progressive leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of clinical modalities like DBT, TF-CBT, ART.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
