Job Description

The IT leader – SAP ERP Applications for Supply Chain Planning, Sourcing, and Manufacturing will lead the design, implementation, and support of SAP ERP applications and solutions focused on supply chain planning, sourcing, and manufacturing.

This individual will collaborate closely with business process experts to ensure SAP ERP applications solutions aligns with strategic business goals, enables end-to-end process transformation, and supports continuous innovation.

This role is accountable for overseeing the migration to SAP Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platforms, with a strong focus on leveraging agentic AI to modernize and optimize supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define, execute, and own the SAP ERP roadmap in alignment with enterprise supply chain goals and in line with organization’s Supply Chain IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with business process experts, and lead implementation and continuous improvement initiatives of SAP ERP applications particularly in areas of supply chain planning, sourcing, and manufacturing.
  • Evaluate and deploy best-in-class technologies including emerging technologies like agentic AI to enable transformation of overall supply chain planning, sourcing and manufacturing capabilities, streamline business processes and productivity.

SAP ERP Ownership:

  • Design, implement, support, and own SAP ERP solutions for supply chain planning, manufacturing, and sourcing.
  • Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with industry leading practices.

Collaboration and solution delivery:

  • Collaborate with business process experts to understand operational pain points, gather requirements, and deliver SAP ERP technology solutions that meet the evolving needs of the business in area of business transformation as well as continuous improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to supply chain, sourcing, procurement, and manufacturing leaders and business process experts.

Technology Transformation & AI Enablement:

  • Drive the migration to SAP SaaS solutions to enhance agility and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leverage agentic AI technologies to improve forecast accuracy, demand planning, procurement automation, decision-making and others.

Team leadership & Vendor Management:

  • Lead and mentor the team of SAP experts including senior SAP ERP analysts, solution architects, and others.
  • Oversee vendor performance and contract negotiations for SAP ERP platforms, AI tools, and other relevant partners.

Governance & Delivery:

  • Lead cross-functional SAP project teams, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and effective change management.
  • Ensure system integrity, compliance, and high availability across global SAP landscapes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years of IT leadership experience with a focus on SAP ERP systems, especially in supply chain planning, procurement, and manufacturing.
  • Deep expertise and 10+ years of experience in successfully leading the implementation of SAP modules for supply chain planning, sourcing, and manufacturing (e.g., Materials Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, Sales and Distribution, and others in on-premises and cloud) and their integration with third-party supply chain tools.
  • Experience in leading 2+ complete life cycle implementation of SAP ERP solutions across large global businesses.
  • Experience in leading at least one complete life cycle implementation of migration to SAP ERP in cloud (SaaS).
  • 5+ years of Experience in leading talented team of SAP experts in areas of Supply Chain planning, sourcing, and manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of process transformation, ERP migrations, and digital innovation.
  • Experience with AI/ML initiatives in supply chain planning or procurement is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Additional Information:

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $140,000 USD - $220,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
