Job summary

Corient is looking for a Global IT Category Director to own worldwide IT category strategy and sourcing execution. You will collaborate with IT leadership, Finance, and Procurement Operations to drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and disciplined category management in line with global policies.

The role requires leading RFPs, negotiations, demand forecasting, and ensuring compliance within a matrixed organization, while maintaining audit-ready records and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, with IT spend exposure
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills

Overview

The Global IT Category Director owns global category strategy and sourcing execution for IT related spend. This role partners closely with IT leadership, Finance, and Procurement Operations to drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and disciplined category management while ensuring alignment with global procurement policies and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global IT category strategies aligned to business and financial objectives
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, RFPs, negotiations, and supplier selection for IT spend
• Partner with IT, Finance, and Procurement Business Partners to forecast demand and manage category pipelines
• Support contract negotiations and vendor lifecycle activities in coordination with Procurement Operations and Legal

U.S. Eligibility Requirements
