Job summary

Corient seeks a Global IT Category Director to own worldwide IT category strategy and sourcing execution, partnering with IT, Finance, and Legal to drive value and governance across global spend. This leader will shape category pipelines, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

The role requires 8+ years in strategic sourcing within a global setting, strong negotiation, analytics, and financial acumen, with a proven ability to operate in a matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management with IT spend exposure.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization.
• Financial acumen and comfort partnering with senior business and technology leaders.

Overview

The Global IT Category Director owns global category strategy and sourcing execution for IT related spend. This role partners closely with IT leadership, Finance, and Procurement Operations to drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and disciplined category management while ensuring alignment with global procurement policies and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities
