FinOps Weekly in Des Moines, IA, seeks a Director of IT Financial Management to establish and lead the enterprise ITFM capability. The role focuses on transparency of technology investments, linking spend to business value, and enabling better decision-making across Technology and Finance.

You will influence across the federated organization, build a steward network, and drive maturity of TBM practices while guiding planning, forecasting, and cost management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT Financial Management or IT Business Management.
• Experience leading enterprise capabilities, governance frameworks, and steward networks in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to translate financial and technology data into insights for senior leaders and influence without direct authority.

## Job Description## About the RolePrincipal is seeking a Director of IT Financial Management to establish and lead its enterprise IT Financial Management (ITFM) capability. This role is designed to strengthen transparency around technology investments, connect spend to business value, and support better decision-making on technology resources.The position serves as the central leader for an evolving, enterprise-wide ITFM practice. You will partner across Technology, Finance, and the business to create a consistent approach while recognizing that adoption and maturity may vary across different parts of the organization.This is a high-level individual contributor role that relies on influence rather than direct authority.
