Job summary

Newegg Commerce, Inc. seeks a Director of Internal Audit to lead the internal audit function, focusing on SOX 404 compliance and effective control design.

You will partner with business leaders to strengthen governance, manage audit programs, and drive continuous improvement across financial and operational processes. You will mentor the audit team, coordinate with external auditors, and ensure timely resolution of findings while upholding high ethical standards in a dynamic e-commerce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• CPA, CIA, or CISA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the internal audit function, planning, executing, and reporting audits.
• Evaluate and promote SOX 404 program standards and testing.
• Assist in annual SOX scoping and risk assessment.
• Collaborate with global/internal audit teams for walkthroughs and remediation.
• Maintain SOX workpapers and documentation to regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency.
