Job summary

PwC is seeking an Internal Audit/SOX Director to lead engagements, shape client strategy, and mentor teams across governance, risk management, and internal controls. You will drive delivery through AI-enabled tools and robust data analytics while aligning with PwC's standards and growth agenda.

You will manage multiple workstreams, engage with executives, and contribute to business development while fostering quality, integrity, and inclusion across the Advisory practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in internal audit, SOX, and controls.
• Director-level leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading internal audit and SOX engagements across control assessment, testing, and reporting.
• Directing governance, risk, and internal control design conversations with clients.
• Developing internal audit plans addressing control gaps and process improvements.
• Overseeing audit methodologies, risk analysis, and data analytics.
• Advising on internal controls over financial reporting and remediation tracking.
• Guiding adoption of AI-enabled audit tools and automation in delivery.
• Reviewing work products to ensure accuracy and standards.
• Building client trust through executive-level relationship management and BD support.
