The Department of Environmental Conservation seeks a Director of Internal Audit to oversee the department's internal audit function, evaluating operations for efficacy and integrity. Based in Albany with up to 50% telecommuting, you will develop annual audit plans, supervise staff, and present findings to leadership.

You will liaison with the State Comptroller and other agencies, ensure risk controls, and lead audits across diverse programs.

Competenze

• 11 years of appropriate experience (or equivalent with relevant degree).
• Master's degree can substitute for 5 years of experience; Bachelor's for 4 years; Associate's for 2 years.
• Creative, solution-oriented professional with leadership and interpersonal skills.
