Job description

Feetures is a family-owned performance brand headquartered in the Charlotte Metro area of North Carolina, built on one core belief: we're all Meant to Move.

Founded in 2002 to engineer a better sock for runners and active people, we've grown into the #1 running sock brand in U.S. run specialty stores, with products sold in more than 40 countries through a thriving omnichannel business. While we've grown globally, we've never lost what got us here: the mindset of a family business.

Movement isn't just what our products support - it's how we work. We run on creativity, curiosity, and collaboration because the best results come from moving forward together. We obsess over the details, challenge convention, care deeply about our teammates and customers, and bring competitive passion to everything we do.

We're not just making socks. We're helping people go farther, perform better, and live more active lives. If you're driven by purpose and excited to build something meaningful, you'll feel right at home at Feetures.

About the Role

The Director, Integrated Planning & Supplier Performance will own the end-to-end planning ecosystem at Feetures, connecting demand forecasting, supply planning, production capacity, and supplier performance. Reporting to the VP, Global Supply Chain, you will turn market signals into executable plans that keep products available, inventory healthy, and manufacturing partners accountable.

You will lead a team of planners and drive our sales and operations planning (S&OP) process, partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and executive leadership to align around one plan. This role calls for strong business judgment: using analytics to make clear decisions, challenge assumptions, and balance service, margin, and inventory risk.

What You'll Own
Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Own the initial statistical demand forecast at the SKU and channel level, incorporating sell-through trends, seasonality, and product launches
  • Lead consensus forecasting with Sales, Marketing, and Product - challenge assumptions and resolve forecast risks before they reach the supply plan
  • Guide demand planners through forecasting initiatives and continuously improve forecast accuracy
Supply Planning & Inventory Health
  • Translate demand plans into purchase orders and replenishment strategies that balance weeks of supply, in-stock fill rates, and inventory investment
  • Manage inbound flow and ocean-versus-air freight decisions to meet service commitments while controlling cost
  • Surface excess and obsolete inventory risk early; lead closeout timing, channel placement, and pricing recommendations with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to maximize recovery and protect the brand
  • Own inventory allocations when supply is constrained, prioritizing at-risk orders and protecting reservations for key customers, channels, and product launches
  • Monitor inventory KPIs and turn performance trends into actions that improve supply chain efficiency
Production Capacity Planning
  • Lead capacity reviews with manufacturing partners to validate factory utilization, output commitments, and readiness for seasonal peaks and product launches
  • Maintain visibility across factories, identify capacity constraints, and elevate conflicts before they affect delivery
  • Own and expand the Feetures Supplier Excellence Scorecard program, setting consistent standards for delivery, quality, and capacity reliability
  • Lead supplier performance reviews that turn scorecard results into clear accountability and measurable improvement commitments
S&OP & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Own the monthly S&OP cadence, agenda, and outputs, aligning demand, supply, and financial plans across the business
  • Bring executive leadership clear planning performance and supply risk summaries - with recommendations and decisions to make
  • Lead and develop the demand and supply planning team, setting clear direction, performance expectations, and accountability
  • Coach planners to move from reporting data to explaining what it means, recommending actions, and surfacing risks early
  • Build a team culture grounded in ownership, analytical rigor, and continuous improvement
What Success Looks Like

In your first year, success means the plan gets better and the business has greater confidence in it. We will look for progress in five areas:

  • Forecast quality: Reduce persistent forecast bias and improve accuracy at the SKU-channel level, measured at the forecast lag that reflects manufacturing and replenishment lead times. Assess bias alongside accuracy measures such as MAPE
  • Inventory health: Improve weeks of supply and in-stock performance together. Reduce excess and obsolete inventory as a share of total inventory and manage the air-freight mix against target
  • Supplier performance: Improve on-time delivery, quality, and capacity reliability. Use scorecards to drive candid conversations, corrective actions, and demonstrated changes in supplier behavior
  • S&OP: Drive clear decisions each cycle. Bring executives a shared understanding of the numbers so the discussion focuses on service, cost, and inventory trade-offs, with documented decisions and owners
  • Team: Develop planners who proactively surface risks and recommend actions before escalation. Planning should identify emerging issues before Sales has to raise them
What We're Looking For
Required
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, operations, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in demand planning, supply planning, or S&OP/IBP, including 5+ years leading planners or planning managers.
  • Proven ownership of a monthly S&OP/IBP cycle, including presenting to executive leadership and driving decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical forecasting and consensus forecasting across multiple channels (wholesale, DTC, and retail).
  • Experience managing offshore or contract manufacturing, including capacity reviews, ocean/air freight trade-offs, and long lead times.
  • Track record of running supplier scorecards or performance reviews that drive accountability and measurable improvement.
  • Demonstrated management of excess and obsolete inventory, including closeout and pricing partnership with Finance, Sales, and Marketing.
  • Proficiency with a demand/supply planning system and ERP, and strong Excel and BI skills.
  • Strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to challenge cross-functional assumptions constructively and hold a position under pressure.
What Sets You Apart
Preferred
  • Experience in apparel, footwear, or consumer softgoods, particularly managing size/color SKU complexity, seasonal ramps, and offshore manufacturing lead times. Equivalent experience in another replenishment-driven, multi-channel consumer category will be considered.
  • MBA, or APICS CPIM/CSCP certification.
  • Experience leading the selection, implementation, or adoption of a planning system.
Why This Role

This is a high-ownership leadership role at a growing brand where planning decisions directly shape customer experience and business performance. You will help mature how Feetures plans, build stronger manufacturing partnerships, and develop a team that turns insight into action. If you want to connect strategy to execution and make a visible impact across the business, this is your opportunity.
