CentraCare is seeking an experienced Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) leader to drive documentation quality and ensure clinically supported records across the organization. This role collaborates with physician leaders, quality, coding, and revenue cycle teams to advance programs that positively impact quality metrics and payer reimbursement.
The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree with Minnesota RN licensure, CCDS certification, and at least five years in acute care, including three in
• Collaborates closely with physician leaders, quality, coding, finance, revenue cycle, case management, and operational leaders to ensure accurate, complete, and clinically supported documentation
• Accountable for advancing documentation strategies that positively influence publicly reported quality metrics, CMS, and payer reimbursement methodologies
• Leverages analytics, clinical expertise, and industry best practices to drive strategic initiatives, monitor program performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and align CDI efforts with CentraCare’s strategic and operational priorities
• Partners with the CDI Physician Champions to foster a culture of documentation excellence, clinical validity, continuous learning, and performance improvement
• Directs daily operations of the CDI program, including staffing, productivity, workflow optimization, technology utilization, compliance, and program performance
Demonstrates expertise in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) through strategic leadership, operational management, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to enhance documentation quality and compliance. Leverages analytical skills and clinical knowledge to drive performance improvement and align documentation practices with organizational goals.
