Job summary

Comcast is seeking a Director, Innovation & Business Development to lead incubation of new concepts and monetization models for Xumo's FAST growth. This role blends strategy, product, technology, content, advertising, and partnerships to turn ideas into scalable businesses.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in strategy or venture incubation, experience in streaming/media, and strong analytical and executive presentation skills, with travel ~50%.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in strategy, innovation, corporate development or related fields.
• Experience in streaming media, FAST, connected TV, or media tech.
• Experience developing business cases, financial models, and monetization strategies.
• Track record launching new products, services, ventures, or growth initiatives.
• Strong analytical and executive presentation capabilities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Experience in fast-paced, ambiguity-prone environments with travel ~50%.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate opportunities to accelerate FAST growth and differentiation.
• Develop business cases, market assessments, and growth strategies for new offerings.
• Lead incubation from ideation through MVP launch and commercialization.
• Build and maintain a portfolio of innovation initiatives aligned with priorities.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, BI, Content, Advertising and Opex teams to prototype and test.
