About the Role:

This is a pivotal leadership position for Confluent, focused on our strategic partnership with Infosys and our first-ever Business Group agreement. As a Director, you will lead a global team of quota-carrying sales professionals to drive joint go-to-market initiatives and revenue growth. Your success will be defined by your ability to build and strengthen relationships, navigate complex enterprise deals alongside Infosys, and enable your team to exceed their targets. You will be responsible for the overall success of the Business Group, which includes meeting regional sales targets, ensuring the quality of enablement and delivery, executing a global marketing plan, and managing executive-level governance and communication at the CEO level.

This role offers the unique opportunity to lead a mission-critical business group and directly impact Confluent's global presence. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, supported by a world-class team of sales architects and engineers to help you and your team succeed.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of ~6 quota-carrying sales professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and success.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the Infosys partnership, in collaboration with your peer leader at Infosys.

  • Own and deliver against a global revenue quota by driving joint pipeline generation and deal closure.

  • Partner closely with the Infosys sales and delivery teams to accelerate complex, large-scale deals.

  • Work collaboratively with Confluent’s sales engineering and sales architect teams to provide technical guidance and support.

  • Ensure alignment with the global partner success organization and other cross-functional teams to maximize partnership value.

What You Will Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a sales leadership role, managing quota-carrying direct reports.

  • Deep familiarity and experience working with and selling through Infosys as a strategic partner.

  • A track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals in a quota-carrying position.

  • Experience in a B2B technology sales environment, ideally with SaaS, PaaS, or open-source solutions.

  • Proven ability to navigate and close complex, large-scale deals involving multiple stakeholders and a Systems Integrator.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
