Job summary

KamisPro seeks an experienced Director of IT Application Development & Business Intelligence to shape a multi-year strategy for enterprise applications. You will lead modernization across ERP/CRM/BI, drive AI-enabled insights, and partner with finance, lending, and operations to align technology with business goals.

You’ll manage teams across application development, administration, and BI, ensuring secure, scalable platforms and governance.

Qualifications

Location: This is a primarily remote position with quarterly travel to New York, NY

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director of IT Application Development & Business Intelligence to lead the evolution of our enterprise application ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of technology, data, and business transformation—driving innovation across finance, lending, and program delivery systems.

Reporting to the CIO, you will shape and execute a multi-year application strategy that balances operational excellence with emerging capabilities, including AI-driven insights, automation, and decision support. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure our platforms are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term organizational goals.

What You'll Do

Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Define and execute a forward-looking strategy for enterprise applications, incorporating AI and automation to enhance performance and decision-making
• Lead the transition from heavily customized systems to modern, configurable, and composable platforms
• Translate complex business needs across finance and lending into scalable technology solutions
• Partner with IT and business leaders to align application strategy with enterprise priorities
• Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, financial, and lending systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Box, and other SaaS platforms)
• Establish architecture standards, integration frameworks, and governance models
• Implement structured intake, prioritization, and portfolio management processes
• Evaluate vendor roadmaps and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement

Business Partnership & Delivery

• Collaborate with finance, lending, and operations leaders to optimize business processes through technology
• Lead application modernization initiatives aligned with the enterprise IT roadmap
• Support portfolio planning, prioritization, and stakeholder communication
• Lead and develop high-performing teams across application development, administration, and business intelligence
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Upskill teams to leverage AI and modern development practices across the software lifecycle

Data, Security & Governance

• Ensure applications meet security, privacy, regulatory, and audit requirements
• Establish governance frameworks for data integrity and AI-enabled capabilities
• Partner closely with IT Security to uphold enterprise standards
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and implementation partners
• Oversee application budgets, licensing, and renewals to maximize ROI

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise applications or software development
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing application teams or platforms
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting finance, lending, banking, or financial operations systems

• Experience working in a nonprofit setting
