Director, Information Technology Business Partner

We are seeking a highly experienced IT leader to set the strategic vision for enterprise applications, lead a talented team, and partner with senior leadership to drive technological innovation and operational excellence.

What you’ll do
  • Define and execute the strategic vision for enterprise applications, aligning IT initiatives with business goals across departments such as CRM, HRIS, Finance, and R&D.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of IT application professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements and technology-driven business value.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise application projects, from selection and vendor negotiations to implementation and optimization.
  • Establish governance and standards for application performance, uptime, and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure cost-effective and scalable solutions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technology trends and evaluate new tools and methodologies.
  • Manage the IT applications budget, ensuring strategic investment and resource allocation.
  • Promote change management and cross-functional collaboration for successful technology adoption.
What you’ll bring
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in enterprise IT application leadership, with a proven track record in strategic planning and team management.
  • Experience leading enterprise application strategies, preferably in automotive or manufacturing sectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels and translating technical concepts into business language.
  • Deep expertise in enterprise systems architecture, API integrations, cloud solutions, and digital transformation.
  • Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and budgeting.
  • Ability to build and scale high-performing teams while fostering innovation and transparency.

Pay Transparency

Position offers a base salary of $200,000 - $220,000, plus an annual performance bonus. Final salary depends on experience and skills.

Additional Information
  • This role is based in Novi, MI, with at least three days in person weekly and domestic travel to South Carolina, Virginia, and California as needed.
  • Applicants must meet in-person attendance requirements and possess a valid driver’s license and passport for travel.
