You Will:
  • Leadership and Strategy:

    • Work closely with the design team, creating concepts, visualizing, and delivering design solutions with finely implemented details.

    • Create, communicate, and implement a vision and strategy for our consumables and containers with cross-functional teams, aligning it with organizational goals and industry best practices.

    • Provide visionary leadership to the industrial and packaging team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    • Connect, inform, propose ideas, and collaborate regularly with the Head of Industrial and Packaging Design on creative direction, strategy, and future initiatives.

  • Team:

    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of industrial designers.

    • Conduct regular performance evaluations, set goals, and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.

    • Attract, interview, and hire to support the team and the business.

  • Project Coordination:

    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including our fulfillment, sourcing and distribution teams, and product development teams, to understand product requirements and deliver projects on time and within budget.

    • Coordinate with external agencies and partners to execute creative and effective design solutions.

  • Process Optimization:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and implement best practices.

    • Oversee the entire industrial design lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

  • Quality Assurance:

    • Establish and enforce quality control measures to guarantee all design materials' accuracy, consistency, and excellence.

    • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

  • Vendor Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure adherence to quality and delivery standards.

    • Help evaluate and select new vendors as needed, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.

You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial design or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

  • 10+ years of industrial design experience with bringing multiple products to the market.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within print packaging or related industries.

  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing technologies, industrial design principles, and industry trends.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
