Job summary

Trilogy Health Services, LLC is seeking a Director of Independent Living to design and promote wellness and lifestyle programs that foster social engagement for residents. You will plan events, coordinate activities, and collaborate with campus teams to ensure exceptional service and community satisfaction.

Responsibilities include leading programs, managing communications, coordinating events and transportation, and building partnerships with volunteers to expand opportunities for residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE or Associates Degree preferred.
• 2+ years experience in hospitality, customer service, event planning, senior living, resident engagement or a related field preferred.
• Must maintain licenses and certifications to safely transport residents and operate campus vehicles per state laws.

• Lead development and execution of lifestyle, wellness, hospitality, and engagement programs to enhance resident satisfaction and quality of life.
• Create and coordinate educational, recreational, cultural, wellness, volunteer, and special event programming for a vibrant Independent Living experience.
• Serve as primary contact for residents and families, fostering relationships and identifying opportunities to improve services and engagement.
• Oversee resident events, outings, transportation, move-in experiences, orientation activities, and community integration initiatives.
• Partner with dining, environmental services, maintenance, sales, and campus leadership to ensure seamless resident experiences.
• Manage resident communications, including newsletters, calendars, social posts, and promotional materials.
• Build relationships with volunteers and external partners to expand programming and engagement opportunities.
• Champion resident rights, safety, privacy, and dignity while supporting quality improvement and regulatory compliance.

Education

High School Diploma or GED/HSE or Associates Degree

2+ years experience in hospitality or related field

Licenses and certifications for transporting residents (as per state laws)

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Independent Living creates a dynamic community for Independent Living residents by designing wellness and lifestyle programs that encourage socialization and engagement. They plan, coordinate, and promote resident events, ensuring participation and improvement through feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of lifestyle, wellness, hospitality, and engagement programs that enhance resident satisfaction, independence, social connection, and overall quality of life.
• Create and coordinate educational, recreational, cultural, wellness, volunteer, and special event programming that delivers a vibrant and engaging Independent Living experience.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and families, fostering strong relationships while identifying opportunities to improve services, satisfaction, and community engagement.
• Oversee resident events, outings, transportation coordination, move-in experiences, orientation activities, and community integration initiatives.
• Partner with dining, environmental services, maintenance, sales, and campus leadership teams to ensure exceptional service delivery and a seamless resident experience.
• Manage resident communications, including newsletters, activity calendars, social media content, and promotional materials that showcase the Independent Living lifestyle.
• Build and maintain relationships with volunteers, community organizations, guest presenters, and external partners to expand resident programming and engagement opportunities.
• Champion resident rights, safety, privacy, and dignity while supporting quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, customer service excellence, and continuous enhancement of the resident experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HSE or Associates Degree preferred
• 2 or more years experience in hospitality, customer service, event planning, senior living, resident engagement or a related field, preferred.
• Must maintain all licenses, certifications, and qualifications required to safely transport residents and operate campus vehicles in accordance with applicable state laws and regulations.
