New Creations Child Care & Learning Center LLC in Blaine, MN is seeking a Director in Training (DIT) for a hands-on leadership program. Pay starts at $23.00–$26.00 per hour, with full-time, in-person duties focused on developing future Site Directors through mentorship and practical experience.

The program emphasizes classroom management, staff mentorship, and operational knowledge, under supervision of the Operations Manager.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and Associates Degree in a related field is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must be Teacher qualified under DCYF Rule 3 Standards. Official transcripts of all post-secondary work required.
• Two to three years of experience as a Lead Teacher or two to three years of leadership experience in another career field preferred.
• State DHS background check and fingerprints shall determine that the applicant has not been “convicted of a felony... has no criminal record that the commissioner reasonably believes renders the person unsuitable to be employed in a child care center.”
• Certification in Adult and Pediatric First Aid & CPR completed within 30 days of employment.
• All DCYF training will be completed on day 1 during orientation

Responsibilities

• Support site leadership and learn administrative tasks under the Operations Manager.
• Assist in writing/implementing weekly staff and student schedules.
• Ensure rooms meet Rule 3 Licensing requirements and correct violations.
• Assist in payroll, tuition, and onboarding/dismissing staff.
• Develop staffing patterns to meet center labor goals.
• Support Site Director with leadership and training of staff.
• Complete training in curriculum and policies.
