Job summary

Catholic Charities Archdiocese of New York is seeking a Director of Hotline Services within the Immigrant & Refugee Services Division to lead the Hotline Services department, oversee contracts, funder relationships, and program design.

Under the supervision of the Co-Director, the Director will provide immigration legal expertise, strategic planning, and engagement with external stakeholders. Seven+ years of immigration law experience and a JD are required.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor and active status as member in good standing of the bar in any state or D.C.
• At least seven years of post-JD experience in immigration law, preferably with removal defense and pro bono programming
• Experience in data and fiscal management strongly preferred
• Minimum of three years supervising and mentoring others

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction, leadership, and management of services and activities for the Hotline Services department, including guidance on immigration legal information
• Work with Division leadership and external stakeholders to modernize hotline and information services
• Act as a Division spokesperson through advocacy, liaison, outreach, and engagement
• Develop and direct the work of the Hotline team with focus on customer service
• Direct and oversee all immigration legal information and advice to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Develop, implement, and ensure adherence to call response and QA protocols
• Oversee data management, reporting, and milestone tracking for strategic initiatives
• Oversee partnerships with funders and law enforcement partners
• Hire, supervise, and develop staff; monitor performance and provide training
