Job summary

Philips is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to oversee day-to-day clinical program operations, drive complex vendor negotiations, and streamline processes through innovative methodologies. You will partner with executive leadership across IT, Regulatory, Legal, Quality, and Finance to shape large-scale research strategy and deliver high-quality evidence to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of direct clinical research/operations experience
• 5+ years leading or managing clinical operations teams
• Strong knowledge of ICH GCP, ISO 14155, and FDA medical device regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in scientific/clinical/engineering field; advanced degree preferred
• Experience in cardiovascular, peripheral, coronary, electrophysiology, image-guided therapy is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day clinical program operations and vendor negotiations
• Lead end-to-end trial startup and execution across multiple therapeutic areas
• Ensure inspection readiness and regulatory compliance with ICH GCP, ISO standards, and FDA requirements
• Partner with Regulatory, Quality, Clinical Affairs for submissions and post-market surveillance
• Build and develop a high-performing Clinical Operations team and governance processes
