Role Overview :

The Director, Human Resources Business Partnerserves as a strategic partner to business leaders by providing expert guidance and support in all areas of human resources. This role is responsible for aligning HR initiatives with business objectives to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management.

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, HRBP, you will serve in an individual contributor capacity and be a part of a broader human resources team including Employee Engagement, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, and Human Resources.

This position will ideally be based out of our corporate office in Houston, TX working from the office four days per week. We are open to candidates based in Atlanta, GA or Orlando, FL with monthly travel to our Houston office. .

Key Responsibilities :

Employee Relations :

  • Act as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct investigations and manage employee disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies.

Compensation Management :

  • Provide support regarding compensation guidelines and principles.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Director, HRBP to ensure clear communication around company compensation guidelines and employee changes.
  • Assist in the administration of salary reviews and compensation adjustments.

Talent Management :

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and participate in select recruitment processes and onboarding new employees.
  • Facilitate performance management processes including goal setting and feedback discussions.
  • Support succession planning and career development initiatives to build a strong internal talent pipeline.

Organizational Development :

  • Partner with the HR training team, coordinate training programs and workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create an inclusive workplace.
  • Assist in change management efforts to support organizational transitions.

HR Metrics and Reporting :

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to provide data-driven insights to management.
  • Prepare and present reports on key HR initiatives, workforce analytics and employee engagement surveys.

Compliance and Policy Management :

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

HR Projects :

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR services and processes as needed.

Skills, Experience and Professional Qualifications

  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience in high-impact, fast paced organization
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, PHR, SPHR, CCP highly preferred
  • Experience with employee relations, compensation management, talent management and organizational development in a multi-state organization and / or multi-location organization
  • Expertise in federal, state, and local employment, wage, and salary laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, EEO, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA
