Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee relations, leadership development, recruiting and retention, and compliance with laws while supporting the hospital’s mission and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 8–10 years broad HR experience, with 6 years in management.
  • 3–5 years in a hospital healthcare setting preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Detail‑oriented, analytical, and methodical problem solving.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with all departments in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development of the hospital’s plans and programs as a strategic partner from the perspective of people.
  • Translates the strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategic and operational plans.
  • Acts as senior level advisor on human resources issues to executives and all levels of employees.
  • Develops staffing strategies and implementation plans to identify talent within and outside the organization for positions of responsibility.
  • Knows compensation and benefits strategies and applies them.
  • Enhances and/or develops, implements and enforces HR policies and procedures and manages HRIS databases and reports.
  • Provides technical advice and knowledge to others within HR discipline.
  • Maintains knowledge of regulations, industry trends, current practices, and applicable laws.
  • Identifies external sources for candidates for all levels within the company.
