Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) seeks a Director for the Core Laboratory to lead the Core's mission, strategic vision, and services. The incumbent will manage budgets, personnel, and ensure high-quality research support, collaborating with the iCAC Chair and other leaders to align services with institutional goals.

This role requires a Master’s degree (Doctorate preferred) and at least seven years of scientific experience, with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• Doctorate preferred in related areas.
• At least 7 years of scientific experience; leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead core facility with strategic vision and budget management.
• Direct technical and non-technical personnel; promote teamwork and inclusion.
• Ensure compliance with CHOP RI policies and quality standards.
• Collaborate with researchers and institutions to develop cooperative research initiatives.
