The pending Axcelis-Veeco merger presents an opportunity to consolidate two global organizations onto a single HR platform that can effectively support the combined company's growth and operations. As Director, HR Technology, you will lead the Workday integration and establish it as the system of record for approximately 3,000 employees across North America, Europe, and Asia, spanning both manufacturing and corporate environments. Working closely with HR, business leaders, and key stakeholders, you will guide decisions and initiatives that support organizational integration, workforce planning, and a consistent employee experience worldwide.
This is a newly created role that reflects our investment in building a scalable and integrated HR technology foundation for the future. Following the merger, you will report to the Vice President of HR Operations and operate two levels from the CEO, with direct visibility to senior leadership. Leading an existing HRIS team of three you provide the strategic leadership needed to shape the vision, governance, and operating model for Workday, building the capabilities need to support long-term enterprise growth.

This base salary range reflects the typical compensation for this role across U.S. locations.
Our salary ranges are determined by role and level; individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including job‑related skills, experience, relevant education or training, work location, and internal equity. The range provides the opportunity for growth and progression as you develop within the role.
Base pay is one part of our U.S. total compensation package which includes eligibility in the Axcelis Team Incentive bonus plan, and comprehensive benefits package (for regular employees working 20+ hours a week).
