Sentara Health is seeking to hire a qualified individual to join our team as Director, HR Shared Services.

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Location: This position is remote.

Standard Working Hours: 8:00AM to 5:00PM (ET).

Minimum Requirements:

  • Progressive HR experience required.


Expectations for this Role:

Sentara Health is seeking a Director HR Shared Services. The Director leads the preboarding, HR Compliance and HR contact center functions. Accountable for delivering best-in-class service to our future, current and former colleagues. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring that human resources labor practices are compliant with federal, state, and local laws and pro-actively manage risks associated with non-compliance. Ensure colleagues and new hires receive top-notch support through the activities of the HR Solutions and Pre-Boarding teams. Collaborate to optimize technology solutions. Partner with the Leaders of the HR Centers of Expertise and Sentara Legal Services.
