Overview

The Director, HR Business Partner for Patient Services will serve as a strategic partner to the Senior Director, Patient Services - North Region, driving human resource initiatives that align with business objectives and enhance organizational performance. This role focuses on developing and executing people strategies to attract, retain and develop top talent while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration within Patient Services. The Director will liaise with HR Centers of Excellence and the HR Service Center to ensure optimal HR collaboration and service levels to clients.

This position will be based in Marlborough, MA (Hybrid).

Responsibilities
  • Serves as an active member of the Patient Services leadership team and can influence and challenge others at this level.
  • Owns the People Strategy for assigned business to include organizational re-design, strategic workforce planning, total rewards solutions, succession planning and talent management, organizational development and employee engagement.
  • Consults with senior leaders to develop and execute business strategy to build organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures and processes.
  • Leverages insights from workforce analytics and employee feedback channels to influence decisions.
  • Designs people solutions and initiatives.
  • Coaches, counsels, and advises leaders.
  • Optimizes transformational change efforts by providing consulting support, guidance and a framework for leading and managing change.
  • Identifies and adapts to changes in external and internal dynamics.
  • Enables communication frameworks to drive better engagement.
  • Builds change management capabilities of leaders.
  • Enables development and career planning for key talent.
  • Drives employee engagement outcomes based on insights.
  • Acts as an employee advocate.
  • Conducts sensitive investigations and reeducation where necessary.

  • Partners with and influences HR Centers of Excellence and HR Service Center to ensure the business is receiving optimal service and value-added programs that are aligned with business strategy.
Qualifications
  • A BA/BS in HR or related field is required; A Master’s degree strongly preferred (MBA, MA in Organizational Development, HR or related field).
  • SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Highly effective leadership and strategic influencing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively at multiple levels of the organization from front line to senior management.
  • At least 15 years Human Resources and relevant experience, including a demonstrated track record of success in an HRBP capacity.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within the North Region.
