Job description

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Director - HR Business Partner North America

The role will support the Corporate functions throughout the North America region. This position performs specialized HR work focused on consulting to the business, including:

  • HR consulting and coaching
  • Enabling business change
  • HR program advocacy
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with senior leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational goals and growth initiatives.
  2. Leadership Coaching: Provide coaching and development to senior management on leadership practices, employee engagement, and performance management.
  3. Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.
  4. Organizational Design: Participate in organizational restructuring initiatives, workforce planning, and job redesign.
  5. Data Analysis: Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making, measuring the impact of HR initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or related field; Master's Degree preferred.
  • 12 to 15 years of extensive HR experience with a deep understanding of employment laws and best practices.
  • Experience working with multi-country organizations in a global context.
  • Must have US work authorization.
