Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in sports, live events, venue or destination strategy, consulting, hospitality, or a related field.
  • 5 years of management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex multi-year initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven success managing competitive proposal, procurement, bid, partnership, or location-selection processes.
  • Experience developing business cases, evaluating financial proposals, managing budgets, and supporting complex negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead long-range host market strategy and event location selection framework.
  • Develop selection timelines, governance frameworks, and repeatable workflows for domestic tentpole events.
  • Identify and assess host market opportunities using financial, strategic, operational, and partnership considerations.
  • Direct competitive host selection processes, including bid design and executive decision support.
  • Prepare executive-level recommendations translating market analysis into actionable decisions.
  • Lead financial and business-case analysis of host market proposals, including revenue opportunities and obligations.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Audit to structure and negotiate host agreements and mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with various NFL stakeholders to ensure alignment across planning cycles.
  • Manage relationships with NFL clubs, local organizing committees, and public sector entities.
  • Provide governance, milestones, and escalation paths with host partners from award to completion.
  • Collaborate with NFL International team on location strategy and projects.
