Director of Hospital Based Services

Pay: $63.32 - $101.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Summary

  • Holds operational accountability for Colorado Springs region and oversees Hospital Medicine, Anesthesia, General Surgery, TACS, Thoracic and Neurohospitalists.
  • The role is crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across these key service lines.

Key Responsibilities

The Director of Hospital Services plays a key role in the health system's strategic and operational efforts by:

  • Overseeing daily operations, including staffing, resource allocation, budget management, and ensuring optimal provider and patient satisfaction.
  • Driving regional performance metrics related to patient access, satisfaction, provider engagement and retention, and staffing effectiveness.
  • Serving as a visible, accessible leader who fosters a culture of teamwork, accountability, safety and excellence.
  • Partner with hospital leadership on the development and implementation of strategic plans to improve services, ensuring alignment with the system's overall goals and quality standards.

Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations, preferably within primary care settings.
  • Proven success managing complex healthcare environments with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Bachelors Degree
