Bartlett Regional Hospital in Juneau, AK is seeking a Director to lead our Home Health and Hospice teams.

The Director will provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the Hospice and Home Health departments, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and strong program development.

You will collaborate with physicians, clinical leaders, and executives to advance organizational goals while supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• Five years of standard-level licensed experience in the relevant department.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Current State of Alaska Registered Nursing License.
• Master’s in Healthcare Administration may substitute for experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for Hospice and Home Health.

Bartlett Regional Hospital is searching for aDirector to join ourHome Health and Hospice team!

Pay Information

Internal Offers: Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based on applicable Personnel Rules or Union Contract terms.

External Offers: This position starts at $147,305.60 annually. Step placement and rate of pay will be determined based upon relevant experience.

This position may be eligible for a Sign-On Bonus, Relocation Assistance, plus 30 days of housing.

Job Summary

The Director provides strategic, operational, and clinical leadership for the Hospice and Home Health departments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care across home-based service lines. Responsible for program oversight, regulatory compliance, financial performance, workforce management, quality improvement, and program development. Collaborates with physicians, clinical leaders, community partners, and executive leadership to promote safe, compassionate, and effective care while advancing organizational goals and supporting patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: N/A

Experience Preferred: Five (5) years’ standard-level licensed experience in applicable department (Ex: Registered Nurse, BH Clinician). Two (2) years of supervisory, management, or charge experience

License(s): Current State of Alaska Registered Nursing License

• Substitution(s): Master’s in Healthcare Administration and previous experience in specialty area

Certification(s): BLS
