BAYADA Home Health Care in North Bergen, NJ seeks a Director to lead the Hudson County Visits (HCV) Office. This exempt, on-site role combines strategic oversight with hands-on operations to ensure compassionate, high-quality home health services across Hudson County.

You will build a high-performing team, strengthen community partnerships, and align practice with BAYADA standards, regulatory requirements, and service-line goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable supervisory or management experience in healthcare, home care, service delivery, operations, or another fast-paced, service-driven environment.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and support teams.
• Demonstrated record of achieving goals and taking on increasing responsibility with positive results.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining responsiveness and follow-through.

Director – Home Health | Hudson County Visits (HCV)

Location: Hudson County Visits (HCV) | North Bergen, NJ

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 annually

Schedule: Full-time, exempt | On-site office leadership role | Community outreach and occasional field visits | Exact daily hours to be confirmed

BAYADA HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Director of our Hudson County Visits (HCV) Home Health office in North Bergen, NJ. This is an opportunity to lead a mission-driven office that helps clients receive compassionate, high-quality care in the comfort of their homes throughout Hudson County and surrounding communities.

The Director is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the office, supporting excellent client service, developing a high-performing team, strengthening community relationships, and helping the office achieve its clinical, service, employee, and business goals.

This role is ideal for a healthcare or home care leader who is organized, relationship-driven, and energized by the opportunity to build strong teams, improve operations, and represent BAYADA in the community.

What you’ll do

• Lead the day-to-day operations and performance of the HCV Home Health office

• Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, recognize, and retain office and field employees
• Supervise, coach, and support managers and team members to promote accountability and professional growth
• Partner with Clinical Managers and office leaders to support safe, reliable, high-quality client care
• Monitor client service, employee engagement, quality, compliance, productivity, and financial performance
• Review office goals and performance metrics and develop action plans to address opportunities
• Support strong communication and collaboration between office staff, field clinicians, clients, families, physicians, and referral partners
• Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, social workers, facilities, community organizations, and other referral sources
• Represent BAYADA at community events, professional meetings, and networking activities
• Support the growth of the office by identifying opportunities to expand services and strengthen market presence
• Ensure office practices align with BAYADA policies, applicable regulations, accreditation standards, and service-line expectations
• Partner with divisional and regional leadership on strategic priorities, staffing, service delivery, and office development
• Promote high client satisfaction and respond promptly and thoughtfully to client, family, and employee concerns
• Participate in quality improvement, compliance, incident follow-up, and performance improvement activities
• Ensure the office maintains effective systems, organization, responsiveness, and follow-through
• Prepare reports, presentations, and business updates as needed
• Participate in office and company meetings, events, and special projects
• Perform related duties as required or requested by leadership

Required

• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred

• Home health, home care, hospice, healthcare operations, or community-based service experience
• Experience managing or growing a service office
• Experience with recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and retention
• Experience working with Medicare-certified home health services
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, quality programs, and compliance expectations
• Clinical or nursing background
• Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business, nursing, or a related field
• Experience using electronic medical records, office performance dashboards, and other operational systems
