Job summary

Ankura is seeking a Director to lead healthcare disputes analytics within the Disputes & Economics practice. The role involves developing custom solutions for high-profile investigations, managing workstreams, supervising staff, and translating analyses into defensible findings.

Hybrid work 2–3 days/week at DC/NY/LA/Chicago offices is preferred. Ideal candidates bring substantial SQL/Databricks experience, healthcare analytics know-how, and strong project management in fast-paced environments,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.
• Six+ years of litigation consulting or data analytics experience.
• Proficiency in SQL with ability to review and direct work.
• Experience with Databricks and big-data tools (PySpark/Python/R/SAS).
• Experience analyzing healthcare claims, reimbursement, payer/provider operations.
• Strong project management and leadership skills with client focus.
• Willingness to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage significant engagement workstreams, including planning, staffing, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Develop and review complex analytical models using databases and programming languages.
• Interpret analyses in healthcare, economic, regulatory, and legal contexts.
• Ensure analyses are accurate, reproducible, and suitable for litigation or investigations.
• Supervise data gathering, document review, data assessment, and QC procedures.
• Advance analytical methodologies and client offerings in healthcare disputes.
