Job description

Join to apply for the Director, HCP Marketing role at Dompé.

The Director, HCP Marketing reports to the Senior Director, Brand Lead and will be a key member of the U.S. organization supporting Dompé’s breakthrough therapy, Oxervate, for neurotrophic keratitis (NK). The role involves developing and executing the HCP brand strategy, focusing on growing prescriber base, patient numbers, and disease awareness among eye care providers (ECPs) including optometrists, ophthalmologists, and cornea specialists.

The ideal candidate has experience in pharmaceutical or biotech marketing, with a proven ability to develop campaigns, work cross-functionally, and drive results. Preference for candidates in the Bay Area or Orange County, but open to remote for the right individual.

Core responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with PRC (medical, legal, regulatory, compliance) to create compliant marketing materials.
  2. Partnering with sales teams and advisory boards to align strategies and gather customer insights.
  3. Participating in brand planning and campaign refreshes.
  4. Evaluating and optimizing disease awareness campaigns using analytics.
  5. Creating market research tools and supporting field marketing initiatives.
  6. Managing conference booth strategies and marketing content for sales meetings.
  7. Developing communication plans across various media and collaborating across teams to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or master’s preferred.
  • 10+ years healthcare commercial experience, with at least 5 in marketing.
  • Experience with HCP marketing in biotech, pharma, or med device sectors.
  • Ophthalmology experience is a plus.
