Job summary

Waymo is seeking a senior FP&A leader to guide finance for Hardware Engineering and Supply Chain. The role focuses on translating technical roadmaps into strategic financial insights, leading annual and long-range planning, and shaping investment decisions.

Qualifications

MBA/MA and BA/BS degree required; CPA a plus.
15+ years of business experience including 10+ years in Hardware engineering and Supply Chain FP&A.
Strong financial modeling skills and deep financial statements knowledge.
Experience owning and maintaining forecasts in forecasting systems.
Strategic thinker with ability to communicate finance data to executives.

Responsibilities

Act as primary financial advisor to Hardware Engineering and Supply Chain leaders and executives.
Oversee analysis, deal structuring, and gate reviews for supplier contracts and partnerships.
Lead Annual Operating Plan and Long-Term Planning processes.
Manage monthly variance analyses and regular business reviews.
Identify automation and tooling improvements to scale finance operations.
Build and mentor a high-performing finance team and cross-functional partnerships.
