Results for America is seeking a Director, Strategy, Growth & Communications for What Works Cities. The role guides expansion, outreach, and partnership development across the Americas, with responsibility for embedding the What Works Cities Standard in local government ecosystems.

The position oversees WWC’s Communications team and drives a global marketing strategy to elevate the international brand, while coordinating with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree.
• Experience developing and leading growth, business development, partnership, or market expansion strategies.
• Experience supervising multiple full-time staff and building high-performing teams.
• Experience in integrated marketing and communication strategies across digital and traditional platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead WWC’s growth strategy across North, Central, and South America and evaluate opportunities.
• Set annual goals and KPIs aligned with growth.
• Lead Strategy, Growth, and Communications team to meet targets.
• Develop and manage strategic relationships with senior government leaders and partners.
• Oversee global communications strategy to elevate WWC’s brand and visibility.
• Coordinate media relations and campaigns to promote thought leadership.
