Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience briefing C-suite executives on trade risk and strategy.
  • Strong relationships with federal agencies and trade associations.

Responsibilities

  • Set and lead First Solar’s trade policy strategy at federal and international levels.
  • Own response to Section 232 tariffs and minimum import prices on polysilicon.
  • Develop advocacy plans and coalition leadership for policy objectives.
  • Represent the company in meetings with agencies like USTR, DOC, CBP.
  • Draft policy briefs, letters, and position papers.
  • Collaborate with legal, supply chain, and finance to assess trade risks.
  • Brief executive leadership on risk and strategy for major policy moves.
  • Track trade remedy cases and coordinate company responses.
