Voyager Technologies, Inc. seeks a Director of Global Trade Compliance to lead the company’s international trade efforts.

You will own the program, oversee export controls, imports, sanctions, and licensing, and serve as the Export Control Officer while collaborating with engineering, sales, and supply chain to manage risk. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer within the Legal department and is a remote position in the United States.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in global trade compliance, export controls, or customs.
• Strong operational knowledge of ITAR, EAR, OFAC sanctions programs and U.S. regulations.
• Direct experience interfacing with BIS, DDTC, CBP, or OFAC.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the global trade compliance program (export controls, import, sanctions).
• Develop policies, procedures, and internal controls for all jurisdictions Voyager operates in.
• Oversee classification (ECCN/USML/HTS) and licensing for exports/re-exports.
• Lead import compliance activities including customs valuation and tariff classification.
• Manage screening for denied parties, sanctions, embargoed entities.
• Conduct risk assessments and internal audits; drive remediation.
• Lead responses to compliance incidents and government inquiries.
• Advise leadership on compliance risks for new products/markets.
• Build and mentor a growing trade compliance team.
