The role emphasizes independent leadership, high‑quality deliverables, and collaboration across multiple domains, including non‑U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred in international trade and investment controls.
• Proven compliance or national security program leadership experience in a company, firm, or government.
• Excellent research and polished writing capabilities; ability to produce complete work products.
• Proficiency with office productivity and collaboration tools (MS Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects independently or with a team to deliver national security‑focused risk analyses and mitigation.
• Direct assessments of clients’ trade and technology controls compliance posture.
• Lead audits and enhancements of international trade, technology security, and foreign investment controls.
• Develop engagement approaches and project plans with leadership.
• Interface with clients and deliver high‑quality compliance documents and reports.
• Build SME expertise in national security, international trade, and non‑U.S. regimes.
• Design and implement adaptive risk mitigation and data security solutions.
• Assist clients navigating government security and technology control requirements.
• Contribute to collateral, thought leadership, and market-facing materials.
• Support internal initiatives and projects within the firm.
