University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Director of International Student and Scholar Compliance, UNLV Global Education. The Director will oversee international student and scholar services and lead the advising team, collaborating with colleges, admissions, registrar, HR, and student affairs to advance UNLV’s international mission.

The role requires US citizenship or permanent residency, DSO/RO/PDSO experience, and strong leadership in regulatory compliance, SEVIS, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 3-5 years of experience as a DSO/PD SO/RO/ARO.
• 3-5 years of experience working with international students and/or scholars in a compliance setting.
• 3-5 years of staff supervision.
• 1-3 years of management experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident per DHS/DOS regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee international student and scholar services and advising team.
• Collaborate with colleges, admissions, registrar, HR, and student affairs to optimize international student experiences.
• Facilitate immigration processing and SEVIS reporting; sign petitions.
• Lead policy implementation and improve scholar services as regulations change.
• Provide regulatory compliance oversight and supervise frontline staff.
• Lead special projects and act in Sr Executive Director’s absence.
