Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in toxicology, food science, or equivalent preferred.
• 5 years of work experience in beverage/food industry in scientific and regulatory affairs or related field.
• Experience in international food standard setting processes and reviewing proposed standards.
• Understanding of regulatory and scientific proof points to support regulatory advocacy for ingredients/products.
• Understanding of additives and contaminants regulatory principles and global policy landscape.
• 3 years of leadership and growth behavior demonstrated in a multi-department context.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and advise on global food standards and trade issues related to additives and contaminants.
• Prepare and advocate Coca-Cola positions on global food standards to internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for regulatory alignment with the Scientific Regulatory Affairs network and manage projects.
• Provide guidance on regulatory issues to Coca-Cola System and clients; help develop innovative solutions.
• Guide regulatory submissions on beverage ingredients to global authorities.
• Disseminate information on global standards and positions to internal clients as needed.
• Plan and drive regulatory advocacy initiatives and develop Japan SRA capabilities while supporting product development.
