Job summary

The Director, Global Marketing will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies to drive global brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth. This role requires a leader with a deep understanding of global markets, consumer behavior, and digital marketing trends who will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. The leader will manage a global marketing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement global marketing strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of marketing, including brand, growth, communications, digital/lead generation, and strategic marketing.
  • Identify and implement marketing campaigns to generate sales leads, maintain market positioning, and drive brand preference and customer loyalty.
  • Build and execute demand creation activities to support profitable growth, such as advertising, trade shows, organic and paid digital, webinars, and training.
  • Lead brand-specific strategies, leveraging market insights, segmentation, and other marketing approaches.
Team Leadership And Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Define and nurture the appropriate marketing team structure for the company's size and maturity, making informed organizational adjustments to ensure optimal performance.
  • Build, develop, and motivate a diverse, global marketing team.
  • Ensure the marketing team operates to the highest standards by coaching and developing team members.
Marketing Operations And Budget Management
  • Oversee the creation and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, and traditional media.
  • Manage the global marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing ROI.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimize performance.
  • Develop marketing capabilities and processes to support the company's growth and maturity.
Collaboration And Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate with product development, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and positioning.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including external partners and agencies.
Market Analysis And Insights
  • Work with product and commercial teams to assess market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Leverage KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing strategies and programs.
Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of marketing, product management, and/or strategic service experience in comparable/growth-oriented industries with 4+ years in a senior management position.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience gaining knowledge of customers, company, and competition in new industries.
  • Experience building processes to improve customer’s buying journey.
  • Experience leading marketing and product initiatives across strategic and operational areas.
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
  • Executive presence to quickly establish credibility and drive results with executives internal and external to the organization.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively both verbally and in writing. Able to motivate and inspire both direct and indirect associates through effective communication.
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with a wide range of people both within the reporting chain and outside the function and/or organization.
  • Experience leading and operating successfully in a global environment and being a change agent for creating cultural awareness.
  • Ability to build highly effective teams through attracting top talent, developing high performers, and holding low performers accountable.

Compensation

Employee Type: Salaried

Salary Minimum: 190,000

Salary Maximum: 225,000
