Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a Senior Quality leader in Texas to oversee end-to-end product quality across NPI supply chains, including transfers with third-party manufacturers and AbbVie plants. You will shape QA strategy, lead a cross-functional team, and interface with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and timely product launches.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in pharma/biologics with manufacturing and QA/R&D experience, plus strong leadership and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Pharmacy or Engineering is required.
• Technical or analytical background for problem resolution in quality, product and/or engineering.
• 15+ years total experience in pharma/biologics/devices with specific QA/Manufacturing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a quality professional team responsible for transfer activities and end-to-end product quality.
• Lead Product Quality Assurance Transfer Managers; build relationships with TPMs, AbbVie plants and affiliates.
• Develop global QA strategy to support quality systems for pharma, biologics, devices and combination products.
• Support legal supply agreements and ensure quality/compliance are met for products and services.
