Job summary

Nikkiso Clean Energy & Industrial Gases seeks a Director of Global Internal Communications to craft and lead an integrated internal communications strategy across our global footprint, including executive messaging and major change initiatives. You will align regional voices, drive engagement, and build a unified company narrative across diverse teams and sites.

As a player-coach, you will write executive messages, develop town halls, and shape governance to ensure consistent communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in internal, employee, or corporate communications, including at least 3 years at a Director or equivalent senior level.
• Demonstrated experience leading internal communications for a global, multi-site, matrixed organization with cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a portfolio demonstrating clear, engaging communication of technical subjects.
• Proven experience planning and executing change communications through significant organizational transitions such as integrations, restructurings, or transformations.
• Experience advising and coaching senior executives with credibility and executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and govern a global internal communications strategy aligned to business objectives, growth, and values.
• Translate complex technical and financial information into clear messaging for employees at all levels.
• Establish enterprise messaging architecture, editorial standards, and governance with approval workflows.
• Build and manage a global editorial calendar coordinating messaging across units and regions.
• Serve as communications counsel to CEO and executive leadership on messaging and timing.
• Write and produce executive communications, town halls, and leadership content; oversee run-of-show for events.
• Coach leaders to communicate effectively and create cascade toolkits for local relevance.
• Coordinate with global corporate communications to ensure aligned messaging across parent organization.
