YQN, a leading online international logistics platform, seeks a Director of International Transportation to oversee first-mile and cross-border operations from Asia to the United States. You will manage ocean/air freight, customs coordination, and carrier performance while driving cost efficiency and service quality.

The role requires 5+ years in international logistics or 3PL, strong cross-functional leadership, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in international logistics or 3PL operations.
• 3+ years in team management or senior roles.
• Strong knowledge of ocean/air freight, customs, port operations, and US logistics networks.
• Experience managing high-volume international shipments preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; bilingual English/Mandarin preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead international first-mile operations from Asia/China to the U.S.
• Develop ocean/air/drayage, customs brokerage resources.
• Manage carrier performance, pricing, capacity, service levels and contracts.
• Oversee booking, container allocation, schedules, and delivery to U.S. warehouses.
• Optimize routes and reduce transportation costs; monitor market trends and port conditions.
• Establish SOPs, KPIs, cost controls, and escalation processes.
• Collaborate with warehouse, trucking, customer service, procurement, and overseas teams.
• Lead the international transportation team and support nationwide expansion.
