Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Director of Global Finance Transformation to lead a multi-year roadmap modernizing processes, systems, and technology across finance. The role collaborates with Finance Functions to drive efficiency, automation, and improved customer experience.

It is based in Glendale, WI, with a hybrid schedule, and underscores a strong focus on governance and change management. You will oversee GenAI-enabled automation, redesign core processes, and mentor a high-performing team

Qualifications

• 15+ years in finance operations, accounting, controllership, transformation or technology leadership.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale transformation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ERP and data analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year finance transformation roadmap aligned with corporate strategy.
• Oversee implementation of advanced GenAI technologies to drive automation and analytics.
• Codefine / redesign core finance processes to achieve qualitative & quantitative benefits.
• Lead organizational change management and ensure adoption across stakeholders.
• Establish governance frameworks with KPIs and risk management.
• Build and mentor a high-performing digital finance transformation team.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s/Master’sdegree in Finance, Accounting, or ITwith anMBA or CPA
• 15+ years of experience in finance– operations, accounting, controllership,transformationand/ortechnology leadership
• Strong knowledge/ savvinessof ERP systems, cloud platforms,(gen)Aiapplicationsand data analytics tools
• Proventrack recordin leading large-scale transformation projects

This is a hybrid role (3-4 days in office) at our Glendale, WI office.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $141,000 - $211,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.) This role offers a competitive Bonus plan that will take into account individual, group, and corporate performance. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
