Position Title: Director, Global Commercial Operations
Department: Operations
Reports To: Chief Commercial Officer
Location: Remote

We are dedicated to continuously improving our service and support. The Director of Global Commercial Operations is a strategic leader, a process improvement advocate, and a cultural change agent, skilled in lean methodologies such as kaizen and Six Sigma.

Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Global Commercial Operations to lead the development and implementation of commercial processes via Salesforce.com CRM. This role requires a customer-facing leader who collaborates across regions and functions to support sustainable business growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, deploy, and maintain commercial processes using Salesforce.com CRM.
  2. Document procedures and train relevant staff.
  3. Evaluate commercial activity performance using key indicators.
  4. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using lean methodologies.
  5. Create tools and processes to meet organizational goals, including standard work, visual management, root cause analysis, and market segmentation.
  6. Partner with commercial leaders to prioritize and lead process improvements.
  7. Contribute to strategic planning with data and insights.
  8. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and coach team members.
  9. Share knowledge organization-wide and develop talent.
  10. Build external and internal connections to enhance personal and organizational growth.
Performance Measures:
  1. Successful launch and maintenance of Salesforce.com CRM.
  2. Enhanced opportunity management and sales forecasting accuracy.
  3. Implementation of visual management to improve sales indicators.
  4. Support for revenue growth and market visibility.
  5. Development of sales tools and process improvements.
  6. Achievement of continuous improvement and ROI targets.
Travel:

Up to 50% travel required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manage and lead a team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and conflict resolution.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years in sales, service, or marketing.
  • At least 3 years in continuous improvement roles.
  • Experience managing global teams.
  • Proficient with Salesforce.com, Visio, and Microsoft Office.
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
  • Fluent in English.
