Walmart seeks a Director of Clean Energy Origination to lead global strategy for originating, structuring, and executing long-term energy partnerships that yield cost, risk, and sustainability benefits. The role drives a pipeline of PPAs, green tariffs, and community solar, partnering across Finance, Legal, Sustainability and Operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field OR 7 years' experience in Finance, Business or related area.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Build and execute a global origination strategy for long-term energy agreements.
• Source opportunities using financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Develop and maintain a robust pipeline across utilities, developers, infrastructure providers, and emerging energy technologies.
• Structure and negotiate complex multi-party, long-duration contracts with Legal/Finance.
• Lead cross-functional execution from diligence to contracting and performance management.
• Develop external relationships to expand pipeline and improve terms.
• Influence policy and industry collaboration to enable markets.
• Build and lead a high-performing team with scalable processes.
