Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Director – Category Manager EXM-Bio to lead BIO category strategy and external manufacturing partnerships. You will own assigned technologies, develop multi-year savings roadmaps, and partner with Strategic Sourcing, External Manufacturing, and Quality to deliver value.

Applicants should have 7+ years in procurement/category management within regulated life sciences, with hands-on, execution-focused leadership and strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, or Procurement within pharmaceutical, biotech, life sciences, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
• Experience managing External Manufacturing (EXM), CMO/CDMO partnerships, or strategic supplier relationships.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, supplier engagement, and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of biologics manufacturing, CDMO networks, or outsourced biologics supply chains is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned BIO categories/product technologies and serve as Teva's category SME.
• Develop category strategies aligned with business priorities, manufacturing needs, and supplier capabilities.
• Define and deliver 3-5 year savings and improvement roadmaps leveraging multiple procurement levers.
• Partner with Strategic Sourcing to execute RFx activities, negotiations, and contracts.
• Define supplier management strategies for key BIO suppliers.
• Communicate category plans, sourcing activities, risks, and trade-offs; influence stakeholders.
• Drive category value initiatives and track performance.
