Infineon is seeking a Director of Applications Marketing to define and execute a global strategy for human-machine interface (HMI) solutions. This leader will combine Infineon's capabilities in sensing, connectivity, compute, graphics, and complete application software to create differentiated solutions for consumer, smart home and building, appliances, medical, robotics, and adjacent growth markets.

The role combines strategic leadership, technical judgment, and hands‑on commercial execution. You will build a clear HMI narrative, align global teams, engage credibly with customer engineering and architecture leaders, grow the qualified opportunity funnel, increase design wins, and shape product and software roadmaps through market, customer, and system‑level insight.

  • Create a clear, compelling, and distinctly Infineon HMI value proposition for internal and external audiences.
  • Evaluate customer system requirements and identify high‑value combinations of Infineon hardware, software, and architecture capabilities for each priority market, application, and strategic customer, including complete application software as a key differentiator.
  • Set funnel targets by market, region, and customer; review progress with regional teams; identify gaps; and drive corrective action.

  • Influence product and software roadmaps by translating system requirements, customer use cases, market trends, and competitive insight into technically grounded capability recommendations.
  • Define the technical and commercial intent for reference designs, demonstration platforms, system‑solution concepts, customer proofs of concept, tradeshow demonstrations, and supporting technical and sales content.
  • Develop strategic ecosystem partnerships when external capabilities are needed to complete solutions or accelerate commercial success.
